My son when he was about 13 had two bob-tail lizards that he kept in a small pen. He called them Inky (for his blue tongue) and Stinky (for the smell he created). They both had blue tongues and they both created smells though. They were fed on veges, bits of food scraps and snails.

Let's see here... I've had a variety of pets in my life.
The first dog I remember having was a mixed-breed, only named Puppy. He stayed outside 99.9% of the time, and only came inside when it was necessary. I got scared when he came in the house, but that's only because I was young at the time.
Other than that... I've had birds, guinea pigs, cats (one of which had multiple seizures before its death), and dogs. I was living with a two kittens, an adult cat, and a dog who I still think is mentally challenged before my first move.
Now, I have a one-year-old cat named Yoda, and he's awesome. We had to hide him away from the ex-landlord, because he knew about the guinea pigs but not about the cat. Imagine how frantic things got when he came over unexpectedly! XD Our new landlord doesn't mind about us having Yoda, so that's nice.

When I was a boy I had a ferret that used to have seizures. I lost him when I took him out rabbiting one day. I netted all the holes of a rabbit warren and sent him down. I heard the rabbits running around, then nothing. A few hours later he still hadn't come out so I had to abandon him.

Today my cat is to have an op to remove a lump in his mouth. I can guarantee that my shift at work won't go very well as i have been crying already, the lump is to be sent off for tests. Mandoli we are not allowed pets here but we can't hide 2rather large chinchilla cages Haha. They have actually been ok with the forever growing animal collection, although they haven't really seen much of the damage.

You sound just like my daughter - she lives in a unit where she's not supposed to have pets, but she has 2 cats and about 6 jumping mice (yes, they're segregated). Until recently she also had about 5 frogs but she sold those. Hope everything's ok with your cat. I know it can be pretty stressful when they're ill.

See, our previous landlord knew about the guinea pigs we used to have (we sent them off to a sanctuary late last year). The cat, however? If he knew about it, we'd either have to give him up or pay so much money as a one-off.

My daughter (who lives elsewhere) is an animal freak. She's had frogs, mice, and now two cats. Sh had one cat, but felt he was lonely so she got another, younger one. They became "best mates" overnight and were inseperable. But the new one has become ill, not sure what with, and can't stand up. Long story short, it's cost $1600 so far and no answer as to what it is, and she's sold her frogs and mice to pay for the vet's bill, but may still have to put her down.

Oh that's horrible. I hope they find out what's wrong, its difficult as there's quite a few things it could be :/ Fingers crossed though!!! It would be a shame to spend that much and it not work but at least she can say she didn't give up and tried.

It seems she was looking better for a while, while she was on antibiotics then went bad shortly after coming off them, so she's asked the vet for another course to see if that works.
