How did everyone meet their boyfriend or girlfriend? Husband or Wife?
For Janine and I it was at a party, and then later on the same week of the party, we bumped into each other at the grocery store, and she was looking at melons. Well, many already know that I told her that I would love to squeeze her melons and see if they were ripe. (Place your own joke)

lol that's always a funny story to tell Joey That's so cute. Nick and mine's story is kind of long and complicated. I actually ran into him online back around September 2003. At the time, I was trying to get over a horrible previous relationship, still having to deal with being constantly harrassed by my ex, who was trying to convince me to get back together with him. Nick told me about this dog-day event going on one weekend that he was going to be covering for his college newspaper... and he wanted me to meet him there with my dog Brandy. By this time, we'd been talking for awhile, online and on the phone a little. I was a little hesitant at first.. but then I figured it would be nice to just get away from my ex and have some fun with my dog. So I agreed to meet him there. And the rest is history. My dog instantly loved Nick, which surprised me because she had never taken to anyone I'd dated like she did to him. so we spent practically all day together at that event... then we walked around his college (University of Oklahoma, or OU) and I eventually went home.. and I couldn't stop thinking about him ever since we parted... I ended up coming back over there that night, we watched Where the Heart Is, took a walk around the railroad tracks just outside his apartment complex and basically fell in love. He seemed too good to be true. It was such a relief, after having to constantly deal with my ex. Anyways.. the short version of the rest of the story is... he graduated in May 2004, got offered a job in Texas as a newspaper reporter, we stayed together for about a month after he moved... then I couldn't handle the distance.. and I wasn't ready to move down there with him... so I broke it off (thinking that was the only option we had), tried to move on with my life... met another guy, let him move in with me, the situation turned majorly sour (partially because I was still in love with Nick, and didn't realize it until it was almost too late), he moved out, I moved to Texas, and now here Nick and I are back together again.

I met my wife when i was working in a Christian Conference Centre in UK in 1998.
I was co-leading a houseparty (name we gave a Conference) and had been working all day and was very tired. I sat with my team in the main meeting room and we did a general introduction of the 'staff'.
It wasn't until the end of the week that i realised i had met the person i wanted to spend the rest of my lfe with.
After 6 months of phone calls i asked her out and the rest is history.
On August 26th 2005 we will have been married for 5 years.

I met my husband on ICQ…When I first got my PC I logged in and clicked the chat with random friend button, he was either the first or second person that messaged me, and the rest is history.
