yeah.. it was incredibly scary... but what was scarier was when he started making threats towards me, or rather one of his friends was the one provoking him to do it, his friend said he was going to kill me or something and this was the time when I was working at a hardware store, while still in school so I had to work nights. Let me tell ya, there's only one other time in my life that I had been scared for my life every time I looked over my shoulder. and it's not a good experience. but yeah, I'm like you, I'm only 5'1" but the only difference is I'm nowhere near intimidating to guys. It's more of they intimidate me. But that's another story which I can't go into here. That's not nice at all April; and is definitely a traumatic experience. I'm glad it's over; though I'm sure the trauma from it still hovers .... things like that need healing ... and stay in the energy field ... My *intimidation* is my energy ie they wanna protect me but can *sense* that I'm not interested as I can come across as someone who knows what she wants (which I do) and that is intimidating eg someone like Halle Berry for one says the same thing ie ie men won't approach her cos they find her self assuredness intimidating and I can relate to that; and find it frustrating. Men seem to want women who can't look after themselves etc (or somewhere along those lines and not quite an *equal* woman and I'm all for equality ... am definitely not a feminist thou! Just believe that there's a boundary and male chauvanists (whom I encounter a fair bit) should learn more from the new age men that are thankfully evolving!

thanks Indiana, yeah the effects still hover but there are other contributing factors from another traumatic experience also so um yeah, enough of that. I understand what you are saying about guys being intimidated by a girl who knows what she wants. I think that's very admirable that you do know what you want and you shouldn't be with a guy who doesn't appreciate that. I think a little differently though, I like a guy who can take care of me and stuff. I don't mean like in a way that would imply that I'm completely helpless but ya know, the way that shows that they care that much to want to protect me from harm. But, then again, I'm a little damaged as it is, so I'd need to have a guy who would take care of me.

Wish somebody would stalk me. It's nice to be loved like that.
That's not love, it's obsession! And harassment, intimidation, scary, invasive, ...... etc Why would anyone want to be with someone who doesn't want to be with them? No one can force anyone to love them and stalking is not going to change a person's mind; though I'm sure in some cases it has, eg Luke Perry and his wife though I'm not sure she stalked him - I think she just threw her panties at him!

I think a little differently though, I like a guy who can take care of me and stuff. there's nothing wrong with that sweetie - we're all made differently Yup understand Yeah it's nice to have a feeling of a nice big fella (or small fella is ok) protecting you - it's that protective feeling which is nice ... I like that too - depends who it is though cos with some guys it feels *cheesy* when they put their arms around you in a protective way and others it's like *melt*!! ahhh! Ahhhh sweetie, (((hugs)))

haha CW don't worry you're not missing out on anything at all. Just imagine like a girl you hate and couldn't stand to be around, and imagine that she is constantly bugging you, either by calling, waiting for you at your doorstep, etc... so don't feel left out

I have never been stalked...and I have never been sexually harassed at the workplace either....i feel like I am missing out on everything Yeah hear hear to what April says! Workplace sexual harassment isn't nice either especially when it's your boss doing it ! My male boss used to put his hands in his trousers and fiddle with his *wotsits* each time I went into his office and/or he saw me and when I went in, he'd start talking about his kids being naked in the bath and other explicit things to shock me and about other secretaries in the office who had had affairs and went into graphic detail ... all to shock me ... it was a power trip or something and was very upsetting cos I couldn't say anything ... wasn't in my personality .... thou I did lodge a complaint with HR when he gave me a bad review cos I wouldn't go into his office (they didn't believe me at first until I broke down and cried ... it all got too much) .... and it's the way some guys at work undress you as you walk and stare at parts of your body, butt, top etc ... and even women do it sometimes. Some make flattering comments (both male and female) but some really undress you and that's the upsetting part cos it feels like rape. Looking is ok, but mental undressing is not ok. You're not missing out CW!! Trust me! I'm sure there are a fair amount of men who go through the same thing as women do ...ie feel like a piece of meat .... urg!

I wouldn't mind being looked at like a piece of meat just once in my life....personally i think it would be a nice thing to have a woman look at me and think" Oh shit I just gotta have that now"

I heard that 1 out of 4 Americans have a mental illness so if your 3 friends are fine then it's you!! Scary stuff though can it really be true?

Well you could be schizophrenic or something like that, would you really want to be hearing little voices in your head? I just can't believe those statistics, I didn't think mental illnesses were that common.

Yes to the library and my hubby was in the car with me. I was livid. It was a neighbor across the street starting trouble with me.
