Yep it's fine here. It's a form of entertainment, isn't it? I LOVE board games!! My absolute favorite would have to be Apples to Apples. Even though I guess it's not really a traditional "board" game because it doesn't have an official board.. haha. But the table you play it on becomes the board. I love the hilarious comparisons that result in the game though. Great for a laugh! I also like Scene It. Ones I loved to play when I was younger included LIFE (which I still love, but don't own) and Sorry! My family played board games a bit when I was little, especially at family get-togethers for the holidays.

Apples to Apples is awesome! I am not much for board games, but I like that one game Catchphrase, which can be played in a group too. You can find it in the board game section.

I'm not big on board games now, but when I was younger, I seemed to like Life and Connect Four.

I'm with Waffles~ My two favourites are Scrabble and Monopoly. A game that we play without the Scrabble board is Take-Two, where each player has 7 letters, face down, and at the word GO they turn them over and try to make a grid of words, like in Scrabble. When someone manages to use all their letters they call out "take two" and everyone has to pick up two more tiles. This goes on until there are no more tiles left and the first to use all their tiles calls out "finished". They get points for each unattached letter from the other players.

The family that plays together, stays together. Very true!! I think that's why I've always been very close to my family... we always play some sort of game during holiday get-togethers, it's like tradition.
