^Exactly what she said! If they are your soulmate then you can't just abandon them like that, sure it would feel really really weird actually being a couple and possibly making love but if they truly our your soulmate you would do anything for them.

How would you know they were really your soulmate....for one if a gay guy were to come up and start trying to hit on me they would never get a chance to tell me they were my reincarnated soulmate...lol and even if they were.....I am sorry...i am just not attracted to guys so i guess like someone said above...it would have to be a platonic relationship....you can't force yourself to be attracted to someone.

Hehehe... I never saw this topic I think I agree with what monkeyshine said blech... The terms "straight" and "gay" are just needlessly categorizing people. I HATE BEING CATEGORIZED! It's not what sex they are that matter, it's WHO they are. So yes, I would, most definately if they were my soulmate then it shouldn't matter what they look like, but who they are on the inside. Which, in this situation, is my soulmate no matter what their organs are. Sure... if I had a soulmate that died, and it was proven that this new person was them reincarnated... definitely, sure I'd go gay XD It's supposed to be about the love rather than the sex anyways, no? Of course, some people may say that but not actually mean it.

I dunno... that's probably a question you wouldn't see me answer unless it happened. In all seriousness... I'd be inclined to say no, on the fact that... I'm not comfortable like that, really. Sure, for some, it's easier, but I just don't see things that way. Catagorization or not... that's just who I've grown up as... and I take love extremely seriously. Sometimes it feels like I'm the only one of my friends... or even just the people I know somewhat well in general, who does.
I mean... I believe in the first... and I think the second is possible... but.. I dunno. That's not a question I can actually answer with complete truthfulness.

Hell, I would. I don't think there's anything wrong at all being gay, contrary to my family's beliefs. (Conservative, they are)
