Ugh, I swear, ever since I moved here, I've had the worst luck ever. Except for meeting Keith, everything has been a complete disaster.
Last night, we went to Sonic after I got off work....well after we got our food and were ready to go, I attempted to start up my car again to leave...only it wouldn't start. It wouldn't even do anything at all when I turned the key...luckily, I had jumper cables in my car...I just needed to find someone else who would be willing to jump-start my car. So we asked the Sonic employees if any of them would be willing to do that... the drive-thru lady said she would...once the cables were in place, my car still wouldn't start. So the guy put some soda water through the battery terminal in an attempt to clean anything that was eroded in there... we had to wait like 5 minutes for that to work... and then finally it started.
But the problem was that I couldn't shut off my car again without having someone else to jump-start it. So we went to Wal-Mart to buy a new battery (I had to go in while Keith waited in my car, since I couldn't shut it off), and by this time it's like probably 10:40pm, so of course, their auto place isn't open to install a new battery.. so I ended up calling my friend Anne and asking if she would be willing to come over this morning to jump-start my car so I can go to Wal-Mart and have them install a new battery... and we're supposed to leave tonight for the 3 hour drive to Oklahoma.... so I hope this all works out..
It was just a really crappy night. We had to re-heat our food because it had gotten cold by that time. I just hope this is the last of my bad-luck troubles for awhile........
