I get S.A.D when the nites start getting darker later as it feels like the day is gone just before it's even begun!!! I feel happier in the summer when it's nice, lite and bright! I'm a summer girl even though I'm a nite owl ie I like staying up late and come alive more at nite than in the early am!!

I think Adam Sandler said it best..."The night time is the right time." I love when it's dark...I can't stand the sun...it's blinding.

aww I have to agree. I'm a nite owl. although these past couple days I went to bed fairly early, but only because I was so exhausted from moving and I didn't have the internet to play around on but yeah I love the night time better than daytime.

I luv the night Sooo much better than day. Unless it's a cloudy/rainy/thunderstormy day I like darkness, it's more "visually appealing" to me

I'm a nite owl too ... it's just that I get *depressed* during the winter months when the evenings draw in early as you go to work in the dark and return in the dark. When I say nite owl, I'm on hols this week and have been going to bed between 4-6am and wake around 12-2pm and don't get started till 3pm or so.... I still nevertheless get depressed when the evenings get dark early .. ug!
The UK government is thinking about changing the clocks going backward permanently so that we don't have such dark evenings and an extra hour of light - wahoo!!!

Like Daylight Savings Time here? The time changes by an hour once a year to give more light. Trust me, it's much more annoying than useful

Like Daylight Savings Time here? The time changes by an hour once a year to give more light. Trust me, it's much more annoying than useful I believe it's going to change so that we no longer have to move our clocks back and forth an hour twice a year; and will permanently stay on an earlier brighter time in the winter; which I would assume to mean that it would mean that in the summer, it would then probably still be light at 11pm at night! Geez! That'd be weird to go to sleep at 11pm-12am and it's still bright!!
