Some of you might have read about my brother getting into Newcastle University but now I'm sad because he's actually there now. We took him to Newcastle on Sunday and spent almost the whole day with him. I think, throughout the whole day, I cried, like, 4 times. And then, finally, when we had to leave, the last thing he said to me was, 'Bye, 'sis.' and then he left. I was too choked up to even say bye back. A minute later, my mum called him to make sure he would do something and when she hung up, she said that he sounded like he had been crying too. That was the bit that made mr cry the most I suppose...it was like it had finally dawned on me that he wasn't going to live with us anymore-not really.
Meh, you all think I'm being stupid and too sentimental over this but I'm close to my big bro and...*shuts up*...sorry..

hey Minime, don't feel bad about being too sentimental.. I think it's really sweet that you are so close to your big brother. My brother never let me get too close to him so I can't really say that I know what you are going through. But just remember all the happy times you had together and keep those close to your heart. I'm sure you will see him again before ya know it... in the meantime, don't dwell on the past, it'll only make you feel even more sad. But at the same time, don't forget the wonderful memories the two of you shared while growing up.

It is great to be so caring of your big brother, look at me and my dad. I know that it isn't the same kind of situation but I can relate, Minime.

It's a good thing you have that kind of relationship with your big brother, Minime. I've a little brother, and we will never have a relationship like that. There's also things with my dad, but I won't get into that. Just think of it this way: You will see him again, and when you do, run up to him and give him a giant hug.

Thanks a lot for the nice words, everybody. And he calls us everyday so it's not like, I'm not in total non-contact with him.
