This is a question I am seeking the answer too? Does anyone know the answer?
It gets me down sometimes when I cannot understand it.

This is a question I am seeking the answer too? Does anyone know the answer? It gets me down sometimes when I cannot understand it. What does the *Why" refer to, Flightless? There are many answers to Why in Buddishm. www.ship.edu/~cgboeree/buddhawise.html may or may not answer some of your questions and/or enlighten you .... when the student is ready, the teacher will appear! -- p/s if you're not ready, it'll mean nothing to you .... take what you need and let the rest go! p/s I was in your shoes once ... ie always asking "Why?" ... why does this happen to me? Why did that happen? Why, why why??! I went on my own inner discovery journey to find the answers (smiles) .... and it's a work in progress

It is a rhetorical question with infinity answers. it is just interesting to view others ideas of why.

Everything has a cause and effect, if you dig deep enough, you'll find it.

you know, hume the philosopher would tell you that there's no such thing as causation, and so the question "why" has no real answer. camus would tell you that it doesn't matter why. my father would shrug and walk away. my father's not a philosopher though.
hope that was helpful.

thanks Kosi,
Part of me wants to be a philosopher, the other half says, "Why?"
The answer is out there somewhere but can i find it, i will have to look in bigger cabbage patches.
I found a needle in a haystack, but i cheated cos i was using a metal detector. I am also looking for a small camel, to pass thru the eye of the same needle.

Why does Taco Bell put so many beans in their burritos that when you bite them they explode in your face?
