So, I'm just wondering, if anyone else has this [irritating] problem after a significant change in the level of exercise you perform each day.
Let me explain... I have a desk job, where I mostly sit in front of a computer downloading documents from the internet and inputting that information into spreadsheets. So I basically don't get a lot of physical exercise at all during the day. Over the past week, we've been trying to change that by going for a walk every night, alternating between taking our male great dane or irish setter along with us. The walk is usually around 2¼-2½ miles total, burning around 400 calories, give or take.
The last 2 days, I've been eating my normal routine for breakfast (about 9-12 fl oz of coffee with 2 tbsp creamer, and a fiber one breakfast bar) and by the time 8-9am rolls around, my stomach starts growling like I hadn't eaten anything all day. It's highly annoying because I really would rather not stifle the hunger by eating more, since I have a limited amount of calories that I try to stick to every day (1200, not including calories burned off throughout the day).
I guess I may need to do some research on what I can eat throughout the day that is low in calories while also very filling. I would imagine bread would do the trick, but that tends to be high in calories.
Anyway, just had to rant a little bit...

My wife eats a lot of sweet potatoes with black beans and salsa on them. Very healthy and filling. I don't like sweet potatoes, so I can't vouch for how good they are, but my wife loves them.

Ohh, I love sweet potatoes, but I'm not so sure about salsa on them. But I'll have to look into sweet potatoes. Either that or I'll just drink lots of water, that usually makes me feel pretty full. Thanks endo!

Can always munch on a Rice Cake of death Haha, you mean cardboard?! I was doing that for a bit, but I think I stopped because the taste got too mundane after awhile. Maybe I'll pick it up again though because I still have this same problem, even though I've been slacking off on the exercise part lately. Need to get back in my habit of a 10 mile cycle or 4 mile walk every (weekday) morning.
