Ughhhh, our new neighbors are so damn inconsiderate. It's annoying me more than it should. (and I'm so not an angry person!) See, they have 3 cars and one of those really long driveways that can easily fit ALL 3 of their cars. We also have 3 cars, yet only enough room in our driveway to fit 2 of them (one of which isn't running right now, hence why it has to stay in the driveway) and I usually park on the curb right in front of our house. Last night, after coming back from our mandatory meeting for a Spring Break trip that my boyfriend's daughter is attending later this month, I come home to find that their car is parked in front of our house. So I was forced to park across the damn street. We had this same problem with our previous neighbors and I really don't feel like dealing with it again. I guess the good news is that we do have their landlord's phone number this time so at least we can take some action, besides for the vindictive plan that I have in mind, which is to park right in front of their house once the spot is free.

That would probably work, gotta watch people though, never know who's a nut case. Our big problem is the yard. We have a dog and I pick up after her every day. I like having a nice yard in the Spring and Summer, so I'm big on cleaning it up and keeping the grass neat and all. But, it never fails, come warm weather all the teenagers like to play football in my yard for some reason. There's a park to play in, why my yard?
Also have the problem of other dog owners walking their dogs in my yard and not picking up after them. I've already cleaned up after my dog, I shouldn't have to clean up after theirs too.
So, yeah. Not a big fan of neighbors. The ones that never bother me are OK though.

Well... if they are a nutcase, let me just say, we have ways to protect ourselves. Plus a great dane who is VERY protective of me. Even if my boyfriend is playfully hitting me on my arm or something, he gets mad and pulls his arm away with his teeth. And that's to someone he knows, I can imagine what he'd do to a total stranger. But I do understand what you're saying. That's horrible about your yard too, we have a lot of people who walk by our front yard with their dogs, but every time I've seen their dogs do their business in our yard, the owner usually picks up after them. If you see them not cleaning up after their dogs, do you say something to the owner? Oh and btw, the damn car didn't move ALL day yesterday and is STILL parked in my spot. Just two more days and we can call the police to have the car towed. Ugh, let's hope I can make it that long without doing something stupid.

I never catch them in the process of letting their dogs use my yard. I let my dog out on a tether in the back yard and it isn't long enough for her to get in the front yard. The..."offending substance" is always in the front yard, so I know it isn't our dog. There are a few neighbors with dogs who walk them anywhere, or worse, just let them run loose. So, it could be any number of offenders. But, I do know whose dog is whose, and if I do see it happening, the owner will have a present on their door mat the next day. You want your yard full of crap, that's fine. Don't bring it to my yard.
Maybe when their car finally finds it's way into their own driveway, you could block their driveway. I'd do something like that and hope they called called the cops so I could give them my side. Nothing would get done of course, but I'd get satisfaction knowing I at least disrupted their day some.

Oh, trust me, when they have to pay a big fine to get their car out of the impound lot, I'm sure it'll disrupt their day enough. And then I will be parking right in the middle so that they can't park on either side at all. I'm sooo tempted to just drive right into the back of their car whenever I see it parked there. If I didn't care about the damages to my car, I'd totally be doing that. It's just so hard to sit here and do nothing though, except get more and more angry about the whole mess. I haven't even seen anybody come out of the house so that I could try and talk to them. I feel like a damn stalker in my own house, since the window in our office looks directly out to the front of the house and I can definitely see if/when there is any activity there. But, I do know whose dog is whose, and if I do see it happening, the owner will have a present on their door mat the next day. You want your yard full of crap, that's fine. Don't bring it to my yard. Lol, the phrase "Karma's a bitch" comes to mind.
