Not sure if this exists already and I haven't worked it out, but it would be good to see all new posts (for say 48 hours) listed together, with links.

It does actually exist already, it just doesn't stand out as much as it should. There's a link under the "Bites & Nibbles" section in the Forum Information Center at the bottom of the main page. You can view them in the form of threads (bites) or posts (nibbles).
I may remove the "Calendar" button on the main navigation menu and see if I can add in a separate custom page for all of the recent posts. Would that be more of what you're looking for?

Ah, yes! I suspected it was around somewhere, but I only had a "man's look" (ask my wife about that) and couldn't see it. Thank you. It could be made a bit more prominent though, for dummies like me.
Saw your "heads up" about the new Cracked forum. I've always said "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". This forum works well as it is. But maybe something could be devised to recall past contributors (without spamming them)?

I actually played around with a custom page that lists threads with recent posts in them, and added the link to it up there in the main navigation menu under "What's New?" as well. Let me know how that works out for you! Thanks for the comment about the forum, I do believe in that quote as well, but there are some people out there who don't like to look at the same thing for too long. So that's who the v3 will be for. Like the post says, you will still be able to keep using this version even after the new one is released, so if you don't want the change, I'm not forcing anyone to use it. Yeah, I try not to spam old members here with lots of emails, but I do send them out occasionally, and it works for a little bit, but people drift off again. It's a vicious cycle. I'm hoping a release of a new version will possibly entice some people back though!

Yes, that New Bites link does the trick, even for me. Nice one and thanks.
