Just reading a thread that mentioned a few people forgetting things. This is my specialty, the one thing I'm really good at.
At one stage, I worked at Bunnings and my wife was a Maison Operations Manager (MOM). Usually I walked to work so that she had the car for shopping etc. But this day, she was staying home so I drove the car to work.
When I got home that night, the first thing she asked was, "where's the car?"
Yup, I'd left it at work and walked home.
I bet most of us have similar memories (or failures of) to tell?

Haha oh wow, that's a funny one. I forget things too, but it usually doesn't result in a funny story like that At least not at the time anyway. Like, for example, back when I was younger, I forgot to take my keys out of my car... with the engine still running. And the car I was driving at the time had manual locks, so I got in the habit of automatically locking my car as I stepped out of it... And it happened at least twice! I think the first time, one of my parents had a spare key and had to drive a bit out of their way to come rescue me... and the second time I think my at-the-time boyfriend was able to get it open with a clothes hanger. Oh, there was one other time that I remember, I was at a college party with my then-boyfriend. We were just leaving and about to load into my car... this was the same car that didn't have power locks, so I went to manually open the passenger door for my boyfriend with the key... yet I forgot to take the key OUT as I was walking away and the key broke off inside the door! My forgetfulness stories seem to revolve around my car...

Oh dang, you left the car at work? LOL That's quite a tale.
Stories of misfortunes with cars makes me rather glad I don't drive, nor do I want to. Or own a car, that too.
I tend to forget stuff a lot. It's actually really frustrating. Like my email password. I'm always changing it because I forget it so often.

I would have the world's worst memory I think. I'd give you a few examples but I can't remember them lol.

Ha, I know the feeling also. I actually keep a Word document of all of my login usernames and passwords because there are just too many of them to remember! (It's encrypted so that you have to put in a password to even access it, which only I know.) It just sucks when I forget to update the file when I change a password...

Funny story but true: In my late teens, I tried to do something about my memory. I bought a book by Harry Lorraine (I think) called How to Develop a Super-Power Memory. I took it on the train with me when I went to Melbourne one day, and - you guessed it - I left it on the train!

Lol that's cute. They are so big and hard to miss, though habitually walking home every day, I can understand forgetting.. My husband(recently married), still isnt use to wearing his wedding band. He's a mechanic so he can't wear it at work for safety reasons. Every other week he comes home without it because he left it in his tool box.

Hhaahahaha!!!! I don't have any funny stories I travelled to work on my day off as I had left my keys.. Got chatting and almost left without them again. I tend to forget to do the emergency answerphone message at work but remember just as I'm about to leave Oh I did forget to put a litter tray in with a feral cat at work once and remembered at midnight so had to go back.
