It's never too late- Procrastinate!
You can use 4+4 for the 8 key, and, well who needs two shift keys anyway?

who needs two shift keys anyway? Me - I use both hands to type with, and I just don't like having to kill the key.

I'm left-handed (yes, sinister in several ways) but when I used to play cricket at school I was never very good at it because I could only catch with my right hand and throw with my left. This meant that when fielding a ball I had to grab it with my right, transfer it to my left and throw it.

I'm so not in the mood for grass fires today! Or having to be ready to evacuate in case the one nearby travels here...

You should move to Australia. We have floods, cyclones and bushfires, but grass fires are pretty low-key stuff here most times

Heh, yeah, every place has its own natural disasters. My boyfriend's aunt lives out there in Melbourne. I'd love to go visit... if only we had enough extra money! I don't think we'd move though, as his daughter's halfway through high school right now and pretty attached to her life here. Anyway.. my random thought... I'm all-of-a-sudden exhausted. To the point where I don't even want to get out of this chair. But at least the house is clean! Just in time for company staying over this weekend.

It's fine though, I did have some time to relax before they arrived and some last night while we watched some comedy shows.

Anyway, here's the missing "u" from my last post. u

My random thought: In Parliament (in Australia at least) when they're debating something and a vote is required, the "official bell" is rung to alert all the members who may have dozed off, or are out in the foyer chatting, and all the Members troop out to the foyer. About three minutes later, they file in through the left or right door, depending on their vote, and are counted. What a waste of time and money, given the amount of pay they each receive!
In this day and age, how hard would it be to have each seat fitted with a yes/no button and have these activated by the Speaker when required?

I love steak, and the bigger the better!
So I was quite excited this morning when I read that scientists have found the blood of a woolly-mammoth in a carcase they dug up from the ice. They think they can clone them and bring them back.
Mmm.. woolly-mammoth burgers!
I drool when I think of having a huge woolly-mammoth steak for tea!
