Man... I'm such a horrible cook. I was trying to make me something to eat from one of those already-prepared dinners... was cooking it in the conventional oven because I thought it would cook better than in the microwave oven... So I'm just sittin here waiting while it cooks... and I start to hear this clicking noise... coming from the kitchen.. so I went in there casually to check on my dinner.. and see this little spark of a fire in the corner ... I totally freak out and immediately turn off the oven and fill a cup with water, intending on dumping it on the flames... but by the time I opened the door back up, it had disappeared... it must have been caused by some part of food that had fallen to the very bottom of the oven... lol I was just so scared that that tiny flicker of flames was going to blow up the oven ... and now I guess I'll have to finish my dinner in the microwave because I'm too scared to use the oven again.. heheh.

lol yeah that's what happened last night too... I usually cook them without a pan, just put them directly on the grill and for some reason last night, the pizza curled under one of the bars, had never done that before... but one of the tiny pepperonis had probably fallen off then and I didn't notice and so that's what started the little fire in my oven... lol. oh well, lol I'm not using this oven at all for the remaining 2 weeks that I have left of living here....

Something similar has happened to me. The oven was left on, but the top bits were, you know where you put your pots and pans and stuff etc were left on. The actual oven wasn't. Well I accidentally left one them on, with the oven gloves laying on top. Now I dont know what it was, but I had a feeling to come downstairs, and a good thing I did, there was smoke everywhere in the Kitchen. Horrible smell of smoke to, and the gloves were smoking. So I quickly took them out side, and cos if the temperater change, it had one spark on it, so I through some water over, then opened all the windows. Let's just say one part of the oven gloves were black! But it's a good thing I came down when I did. I don't even quite remeber why I ca edown, so must of eith rbeen instinct, or something else!

lol.... I've done that before too... only the bad thing was that it wasn't my oven mitt.. hehe.. it was a little different though.. I was wanting to cook something on those burners... but turns out I had turned on the wrong burner, the one that just happened to have an oven mitt laying on it.. flames started coming from the glove.. and as I freaked out, it was taken out to the balcony to be dealt with... lol, right Nick? (but I did make it up to him by buying him new oven mitts )
