...completely sucks! I hate everything about it...interviews, applications, waiting for a call back only to get disappointed (especially when you can sense that there's not a drip of sympathy in the person's voice who is telling you that the job you wanted and got so excited about was given to someone more qualified and experienced)... I'm really having a hard time with this. Don't mind me, just had to vent.

April, I know it sucks, I went through the samething when I was trying to get a job after we first moved in together, but I eventually found a job just like I know you will. Just smile and try not to think about it so much (easier said than done, yes I know)

Never done it, but I imagine it wouldn't exactly be fun. Though I'll be doing it fairly soon, I think. Plan to get a job when I'm 16 to help pay off the new car I plan on getting

I've never done that yet... but I do sympathise with you, as it sounds like something I'd really hate.
Good luck for finding something good, April

It took me a year to get a job. You just have to keep at it.

Yeah..I've got less than two weeks now before my last day. (March 11) I'm not too worried about it anymore though because I am going to re-activate my account at the temporary agency that originally found me the job I have now. I can tell them that I need a temp-to-hire position and they'll find one for me. I guess, in a way, it's kinda like taking the easy way out... but either way, at least I'll have some temporary income.

April, I hope that you'll find a great job very soon... I just saw your old web journal... and I just wanted to say... take care of yourself. Life is hard, I'm also going through a rough patch so I feel for you... Don't let it get you down... Remember that after the rain, the sun comes out again

If you live near a theme park they give away jobs like it was the end of the world as you know it its basically "do you take drugs? do you have tatoos on your hands or neck? let me ask you a bunch of pointless questions...take a drug test, and you got the job!" oh and if you work in culinary though you have to get this humongous shot, it didn't hurt me but im used to needles by now, thoug hit did make my arm sore, it was one big frikin needle. it was a vaccine for somthing, i don't recruncher what, but if your family has a history of the disease (which luckly mine don't) then the needle gets bigger depending upon your weight.... ---------------- recruncher?.....thats an odd edit....

lol rule that out for me then, I HATE needles... I'm terrified of them... and if it's as big a needle as you say... ahh that just makes my arm hurt right now I do live near a little theme park, but I've heard that it REALLY sucks to work there, and they rip you off concerning how much you get paid... and yeah, remember does that because it automatically changes "m-e-m-b-e-r" to cruncher hehe sorry bout the confusion.

I've never personally had a problem with needles and I once had a job working in a psychiatric hospital, so I was required to get a lot of needles to ensure that I was vaccinated against everything and anything.
Keep your head up April, job hunting can be very discouraging at times, but the right job will find you eventually. You will be a better, stronger person when all is said and done.

I don't really mind needles that much- I'm more worried about what they're injecting with them Overvaccination is not a good thing
