whens the last time you opened your computer, took a look inside, and a can of air to it, four months? two years?? NEVER?
lying under neath all that dust your computer gets hotter, slower, and if you have a badass graphics card it becomes less efficent
i dust my comp usually often, at leaste very 3 months, and even then its so dusty there was an actuyall cloud today
so just one comp user to another
dont neglect your computer's inside ;P
whoops, wtf did i put this here???
uh, can u move it to the regular entertainment section???

uhh.. yeah I've never really dusted this computer... that's probably why it's so slow at times.... I guess I've just got too many other things on my mind to be worrying about the inside of my computer.......

Or maybe it's because it's just low-end? Dust isn't going to make that much of a difference

My computer's 8 years old, it hasn't been dusted since the day it was bought. I'm not going to start now.... except when I get a new compy and give this one to my brother.

first dust can affect the performance, when a layer, or layers in case of you people haven't dusted in ages, set in the computer around its electronic components it heats up much easeir than usual, this will affect load times, and will make v-games, if you have any, useless, it is also a great way to destroy even the simpilest and low powered graphics card, as well as your hard drives fan and filter
come on guys, not that hard, take off 1, thats just 1 nob, slide of the side, aim a can of air, spray it as if you where washing, put the side back on, screw the nob back on, and your done...easier than dusting your room...

well... I'm lazy because in order to dust my comp, I'd have to take the tower outta its little shelf-cabinet, and it doesn't reach all the way out without having to unplug everything in the back... so yeah.. laziness takes over in that department...

I do the ones at work quite often. Mainly because of the amount of pet hair that gets it in.

^^ sounds like a good enough reason to me! Heh, I don't have an actual desktop PC anymore so yeah, I do dust my laptop every now and then when it needs it.

This topic inspired me so much, I felt guilty that I'd never EVER cleaned it. So, I unplugged it, took it outside and hosed it down. It didn't do any good, it's just as bad, or worse now !!!

Now it's me bringing back an older one. I clean mine with air every other month or so. Should probably do it more than that because the tower is on the floor and our dog sheds like crazy in the Summer.
