Here's a couple quotes I like from John Ritter, taken from the book "Come and Knock on Our Door: A Hers and Hers and His Guide to Three's Company" by Chris Mann.
(regarding the dispute between Suzanne Somers that ended up causing her to leave the show): "Anyone can renegotiate. You say, 'Can I have more money? No? Okay, well, I'll go back to work.' But with Suzanne it was like, 'Can I have more money? No? Wel, f--- you. I'm going to get more money because I am Three's Company.' That seemed to be her attitude." ------he makes a very good point here, she just got too greedy...that always kills friendships and just about everything else.
"I hate being a celebrity; I love being an actor. Celebritydom can kill you; being an artist or an actor can feed you...if you want to be a celebrity, you're going to run into a brick wall---or turn into one."
He was such a great actor.

"I wrote your name in the sand but the waves washed it away, I wrote your name on my hand but I washed it the next day, I wrote your name on a paper but I accidentally threw it away, I wrote your name in my heart and forever it will stay. "
"I could search my whole life through and through and never find another you. "

Tough guy bully (I forget who) to whimp that he's bullying: "I eat shit like you for breakfast!" Whimp: "You eat shit for breakfast???"
Cops chase a crim up onto the roof of a tall building. Arny Schwartzneger, playing a rogue cop, catches him and dangles him over the edge. "Where's your friends?" he asks menacingly. The crim panics and tells him. Then Arny drops him over the edge. Moments later the other cop arrives. "Where is he?" he asks. "I had to let him go", says Arny.

"Love is passion, obsession, someone you can’t live without. I say, fall head over heels. Find someone you can love like crazy and who will love you the same way back. How do you find him? Well, you forget your head, and you listen to your heart. And I’m not hearing any heart. Cause the truth is, honey, there’s no sense living your life without this. To make the journey and not fall deeply in love, well, you haven’t lived a life at all. But you have to try, cause if you haven’t tried, you haven’t lived." —Meet Joe Black I can't believe I went the last 15 years without seeing this movie! I loved it, simply for that quote.

I have to admit, this book is pretty powerful so far. Because of sentences like that.

i got that movie, April but haven't read the book yet. the movie was great. the little girl did such a good job. The artist’s life cannot be otherwise than full of conflicts, For two forces are at war within him. On the one hand the common human longing, For happiness, satisfaction and security in life, And on the other A ruthless passion for creation Which may go so far as to override every personal desire. There are hardly any exceptions to the rule That a person must pay dearly for the divine gift of creative fire. - Carl Jung -

i got that movie, April but haven't read the book yet. the movie was great. the little girl did such a good job. I haven't seen the movie yet, I read the book specifically because of that It was part of a reading prompt from last year: "read a book that has been turned into a movie [that you haven't seen]" I added in the 'haven't seen' part, because I thought that would make it more interesting if I didn't already know what happened. Maybe I'll try to check out the movie somehow also! I vaguely remember the trailers from when it came out. You should read the book though, it's really interesting and different.
