I was frustrated at the car breakdown at the time, but it turned out okay. I just had to stay in a different hotel and city than I had planned.
I just posted the start of the Cali pics this week too. Not sure when I'll get the rest up, I'm so far behind! The pics I posted are from the first two weekends I was here.

Never doubt yourself April, you're very talented. Hope all is well with you, improving here. I got the dreaded swine flu, knocked me out for about 2 weeks. Going at about 70% now. Chat soon, I hope.

Aww you sound like me before I found what I wanted to major in. I still have doubts sometimes about if I will be good enough to do what I want to do. But all I can say is to keep your eyes and your mind open to anything that happens to spark your attention. I'm sorry to hear that the enjoyment has left you though.
On another note, I hope you enjoyed the last month of summer! Well, I guess I should say I hope you are still enjoying it, as I don't think it's officially ended yet. Congrats on the apartment as well! I actually loved that feeling of being on my own for the first time.
Oh and thanks for paying CYN a visit too! I like seeing old faces come back for a drive-by visit.

Deciding to pay CYN a visit. Also, looking up some other places I haven't visited in a while. It is really refreshing to see everything that I once enjoyed as I currently try to find new things to enjoy.
I've moved into an apartment off campus. I feel almost officially on my own, and it makes me a little sad. Waiting for my room mate and cest friend to move in in a month.
I am taking summer classes because I did not meet the min requirment to be a full time students. And also to raise my GPA. School is hard, and I don't find enjoyment in it like I used to. I haven't found anything that I really want to do, or study. Somthing that got me really really excited. It is my third year in college and I am still looking for it. Psychology is great, but everyone is so reaserch oriented, which is not so exciting for me.
However, I am looking forward to the last month of summer!

Well, there's currently alot going on with me, but mainly I'm trying to pack up my apartment and clean it because I move outta here tomorrow.. and then staying at my dad's old house (he moved to Pittsburgh, PA) until my semester's over in the middle of May.. then moving back to OKC to stay with my mom temporarily while I save up money to get myself to Cali and really start living the life I always wanted.
Also need to get started on writing a 2 page paper on why I want to go to Ex'pression College in Cali, along with drawing 3 sketches of my hand holding something.. which is part of the application process for that college.
Plus, finishing up this semester... I'm so grateful that I only have 2 classes, although the art history one keeps me very busy with memorizing artworks and their information.
Side note: welcome, Brittnee Glad to have you with us.

Aww I'm sorry to hear about the stress Tim I hope things get better for you soon.
As for me... I'm still trying to get college done. I've run into some complications in that area.. I can't stand the art department. They expect you to make art exactly the way THEY want it done, or you're kicked out of the program. Which is not at all how it should be.
But all of that has led me to deciding that I am going to move to California because they have better schools for what I want to go into. (visual effects of film) I'm still in the process of figuring out how to get that plan to effectively take place...
Other than that, I'm just finishing up basics, along with a few lecture art history classes, and also trying to find a job (specifically two).
My dad is moving to Pennslyvania within the next month, so that's making me kind of sad too. I have to admit, I've gotten used to the convenience of him being in the same state as me again. *sigh* Oh well, as long as he's happy.

I don't think forums are becoming as redundant as people think they are. Granted it's not a 'frenzy' anymore but I'm a member of... I don't want to count how many... a fair few forums and several of them are quite busy.
Then of course there are other ones that aren't busy at all or don't get many members like one of my forums, but there really is only so much you can do to get it out there and people interested.
Sometimes I can't figure out what makes one forum busier then the other, especially when it's a similiar subject.

Me too.....and I'm one of the guilty members who's always on Myspace . I still love this place but I think Apey is right , the " forum frenzy" is starting to fade.

aww! but you're not.
Hi ~ Um.. I actually can't really think of one.
Lo ~ This pounding headache won't go away, despite taking 3 capsules of Tylenol about an hour ago. Plus, I still have to work on my art project and am having trouble focusing with this headache...
